I am BEYOND EXCITED to showcase Sabina & Chang’s engagement photos from this early May!! Their smiles were contagious, and their love was evident in every picture. We walked around downtown Mankato, talked about their favorite memories together, and ended the night the sweetest way possible with ice cream!! The rustic and vintage buildings with their outfits were something out of a magazine!! 

Their session couldn’t have been more than perfect! The weather was warm, just like the love these two shared!! Throughout the shoot, we wanted to focus on where they met — Mankato, Minnesota!! This is one of the largest towns in the southern portion of the state, but it also has a lot of history too. As a college town, there are many fun bars, thrift stores, and brick buildings that bring so much character into each and every one of Sabina & Chang’s photos. 

Toward the end of the session, we decided to conclude their engagement shoot in the most fun way possible – by enjoying some delicious ice cream together!! We headed to a charming local ice cream parlor, where they playfully shared a sundae with two spoons, giggling like carefree children. It was a moment of pure joy and simple pleasure, symbolizing the happiness they would experience throughout their journey as a married couple. While capturing their laughter and messy ice cream faces, I felt incredibly privileged to witness and document these intimate moments that would become cherished memories for YEARS.

Every single moment was something that I knew these two are going to love for years to come!! My purpose as a wedding photographer is to document precious moments — even the in-between parts you might not even remember — so that each of my couples can look back on the best moments of their relationship together!!
